Caring Friends

Caring Friends awards are presented to outstanding individuals who show caring acts of kindness in the autism community. These kind acts encourage others to do more with autism awareness.

The award is part of our signature awareness campaign, “It’s Cool to Care;” an interactive, engaging presentation to educate and empower students about other students with unique abilities – autism.

Our Teen Huddle volunteer group presents the award on a monthly or quarterly basis. Candidates are nominated, voted on by Huddle members, and the awards are given through a presentation and receipt of a Caring Friends Award plaque.
