Crisis Intervention Training (CIT)

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Crisis Intervention Team (CIT), led by Chief Deputy Mattie Provost and managed by Lieutenant Jerome Ellis, provides a compassionate, trauma-informed response to individuals in crisis. Under Sheriff Eric Fagan's leadership, the unit focuses on critical de-escalation strategies and jail diversion.

Since 2014, Hope For Three has proudly partnered with CIT to provide first responders with essential autism-specific training. This collaboration ensures officers recognize neurodiverse characteristics, helping to guide vulnerable situations toward patience, safety, and understanding.
