Meet James Newton, Hope For Three’s November Autism All-Star. James is a remarkable young boy who has captured the hearts of many with his unwavering spirit and infectious love.

James’ journey wasn’t always easy growing up. At the young age of four, he was diagnosed with autism, but that didn’t stop him from shining. He developed a love for pizza, dinos, and imaginative stories, expressed through drawings and Lego creations.

James works hard weekly in occupational therapy and play therapy. Daily, James tries so hard in school to work past his difficulties. He tries extremely hard to make good choices. James has a beautiful support system with his family to help encourage and lift him when needed. James made a connection through iFit at River Pointe Church and found his first best friend, Case.

James is a ray of sunshine, greeting everyone with heartfelt compliments and spreading joy wherever he goes. He’s got a growing sense of humor and a heart full of compassion and care.

One of his proudest achievements is learning to swim. Initially, James was hesitant because of the wet sensation, but he was inspired by his little sister, and with his grandpa’s guidance, he conquered his fears and became a summer pool splash master.

James’ diagnosis didn’t dampen his spirit; instead, he embraced his uniqueness and continues to grow and blossom. He’s an inspiration, reminding us that anything is possible with love, support, and determination.
